On the Subject of dances dilemma central
My father passed away, 11 years ago. My mom and my uncle are walking me down the aisle and my mom suggested I dance with my uncle to 'Dance with My Father' which I think would be nice. My FH was raised by his Grandparents and isn't very close to his mom and doesn't want to hurt his grandmother's feeling by dancing with his mother but he also doesn't want to hurt his mom's feelings by dancing with grandmother. I also want to do some sort of dance with my Mom since it has been just us for the past 11 years. I don't think the joint dances will work in this case. Do you have any suggestions? I told FH maybe he should just do two songs and dance with both but he thinks it will take away from the party. I want to do my dances and my in laws are the type who will be like why didn't he do a dance with them too. TIA.
