On the subject of favors....
Would this be a tacky idea?My sister did the most amazing favors for my bridal shower (picture below). They are tea cups with a spoon full of kisses in them, as well as a tea bag that says 'Love Is Brewing' on it....
Now, she found the same type of cups, but only the coffee mug version, (they are tall, not short). Would it be cheesy if I did these for the wedding, but with coffee favors? There would be a bag of coffee that says 'The Perfect Blend' and our names on it. It's kind of the same...but different.
Thoughts please!

great favors!!how about axing the cup and using a scoop instead? these things..I was thinking about doing the coffee thing too.. love that.

Hmmmm that's cute too!!!These favors were such a huge hit. She made me a whole set, they are SO CUTE.

Misty,I hope this doesn't come off rude... I LOVE the idea of the coffee mugs, however, just as you said, it's cute... if you're going for a 'cute' idea then I think that's fine... however, you can still do the coffee theme using Marcella's idea too!
BTW - I LOVE the 'perfect blend' idea!

For my sister in laws shower we did exactly that. We got coffee and put the bags in mugs and on the coffee bag it said their names and the date and 'A perfect blend'They were a hit!!!

MistyEyed...I love the idea. I think it is so original...I think people would really them..Where would you get the coffee bags made up and where did your sis get the tea bags made up...I might have to pass that idea on to my mom.

She got the tea bags on ebay! I think she paid like 10 bucks for 100 of them. The spoons and mugs came from a dollar store.
The perfect blend coffee is on a bunch of wedding favor sites...if you do a search for coffee favors on yahoo or google, you'll pop up with a few!

That is such a cute idea. I loved the tea cups idea your sister did. I been seeking ideas for favors at a shower, because I am hosting my sisters this summer. Thanks for sharring and I think the coffee idea would be great

I like the scoop idea! Marcella - where did you get that pic?Edited to say: as an alternative to actual coffee, you can also give chocolate covered espresso beans in the scoop.
And, I like the tea idea for the shower - I'm a big tea drinker!

Just to let you know, I bought the Love Is Brewing tea packets from ebay, they were very inexpensive and cute! It would have been a lot more money to make them myself! The woman even tied a little ribbon around each packet, so check it out!
