On the topic of the Shower (since that's all the chatter, anyway!)

Was anyone else's FH really confused about it?

Mine was like 'okay, I get it's a shower, but who is it a shower FOR?'
And I'm like 'for all the LIW girls!'
Him: 'Right, so it's basically a get-together?'
Me: 'Well yeah, but it's a shower!'
Him: 'It's a party'
Me: 'Well a shower IS a party'
Him: 'I don't understand why girls overcomplicate things. It's a party at a restaurant.'
Me: 'Well it's NOT LIKE MEN WERE INVITED ANYWAY and you know why? BECAUSE IT'S A SHOWER.'
Him: 'Thank god!'

my FH knows all too well about the shower, he helped put together programs, cut raffle tickets and help with spreadsheets!

All he knows is that its a shower (doesn't understand it though) and that i'll be home between 4:30 & 5 - that's all he needs to know

Me- I have the LIW shower on Sunday
Matt- huh?
Me- Ya know the shower with all the girls from LIW I told you about this 1949 times
Matt- Really? You better go register for more stuff...
Me- Um why?
Matt- Well if they are having a shower and your mom will probably have one for you too you're gonna need to put more stuff on there....
Me- Oh god, no babe here's what it is about......

He actually thought we threw them for each bride individually.... Now as awesome as that would be, I don't think thats gonna happen

Being tha my shower is tomorrow, FH thought that I was having another shower. Its really complicated to explain things to him sometimes because he's deaf, so it took a couple of tries for him to get it. And then I had to explain all over again when he saw the raffles in our spare bedroom.

my fh doesnt care as long as he gets too watch football....he is driving me to the shower then going to a friends house to watch

I think mine is working on his Dart. Yes, he drives a 1972 Dodge Dart. I hope he drops me off in it so I can be stylin' and profilin', but he'll probably drop me off in the Subaru.

omg the first G2G i went to, thats all FH asked me about 'did u see their ???' i was like STOP IT!!!!!!

he gets it...he thinks its cool...he used to HATE LIW but now he thinks its quite adorable actually

It's gettin' there. He's working on the engine moreso than the exterior right now. It has a 318, it's 230 hp...it's sweeeeeeeet.

The exterior is currently flat black. I like it that way because it looks like an effing pirate ship coming down the street and sounds MEAN. I'm def not complaining

He doesn't know it but I'm trying to get a caketopper specially made with the Dart!
