I was going 85 in a 65 zone Everyone was going that speed I don't know why he picked me! But luckliy the cop gave me a ticket for obstructed view (I had a little fish thing hanging from my mirror) instead of a speeding ticket.

I know what you mean how people pass you. I was on I95 Memorial Day weekend. I was going 65 mph, while people was zooming past me. This was even on wet roads.

Even if he had given you the ticket for speeding, you would have had to pay the ticket, but you wouldn't have gotten any points on your license. Out of state tickets don't show up on your driver's license.
Just an FYI. Not that I have any experience with that or anything.

Oh I didn't know that! I was going 85 but EVERYONE was going 85. He was hiding on the side of the road around a bend. I think the reason he picked me was there were no cars behind me so he could pull out right behind me.
Actually I won all of my money back Late Saturday night... or should I say Sunday morning. Right before we left today I gave it one last shot to win it big, but I just ended up losing $100. Not bad for a whole weekend. We had free rooms Friday night and Saturday night, and all of our food was free. My sister and her new husband came and so did my mom and her boyfriend. On Saturday morning my FH and I rollerbladed from the Taj Mahal all the way down to the end of the boardwalk. It was so hot and humid, and we got no sleep the night before. I thought I was going to die! I had a lot of fun. I don't want to go to work tomorrow!

sorry to hear about the speeding ticket -- those state troopers can be jerks, and they are very selective about who they pick
glad to hear you had fun -- hopefully some of your luck will rub off on us, we're going overnight next Sunday to Monday

Awww Julie I sorry. That sucks i got a ticket in Florida for doing 92 in a 70 I know how that feels. Thank goodness that ticket didn't show up on my license since it was an out of state ticket!!!!
p.s. I was in A.C. This weekend came home today also.

Was it in NJ? Or some other state? It's not supposed to show up on your license. Perhaps some states have reciprocity. I just know that the ticket I got in NJ never appeared on anything relating to my license.

I heard only the Tri State area share the points.

otherwise you can get a ticket and it really doesnt matter as far as points are concerned.

I got the ticket in CA... it does matter with some states and not others.... as far as which ones, who knows.

sorry you didn't hit it big, Julz But AC is still fun nonetheless.
even more sorry about the ticket.. that seems to happen to me nearly EVERYTIME I drive out to AC for some reason . Either I get pulled over, or whomever is driving does.. the troopers are always on a mission. And rarely am I ever driving faster than the everyone else
Boy doesn't it suck having to go back to work after a great weekend away.. esp. with the weather so nice now ... I sooo don't wanna be working!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at Harrahs. We stay there because My parents always get free rooms. And since we have been going we are starting to get the free rooms WoooHoo..
