We booked our venue!! Westbury Manor for 10/18/15. (Now if only I could figure out how to make the changes in my profile stick...)

Already checked with the church and they are holding the date for us until we meet with the priest this week so I am happy to see that everything is working out.

Now just a quick question...this may sound stupid since I have only read amazing reviews thus far, but does anyone have anything negative to say about Capture the Moment? I am meeting with them alone next week (FH couldn't get the day off) to discuss photo/video packages and from what I have seen so far on their website, I really like their work. So, thoughts?

I a using them for video, I haven't heard of them when I booked silverfox for photo but if I did, I would have a big decision to make because their work is beautiful. Jessica is a sweetheart.

Congrats on the check!! Okay, so I met with capture the moment when we looked at photographers because we loved her videos. I wasn't in love with her photographing style or albums (I wanted something more artistic/photojournalistic), and liked a few other photographers style better. We booked with lighthouse for photo and capture the moment for video. I thought that would be awkward, but it really wasn't. For what we paid for just photo we could have gotten both with capture the moment, but I just fell in love with lighthouse and their artistic style. It's all a matter of your taste.

I met with CTM last night and I have a great feeling about her. She is super sweet and really seems to just want to create a beautiful day with the pictures and video. The only reason we didn't book last night is it was our first photo meeting and there are still a few I want to look at/have appointments with. But for me CTM is right now my top pick.

CTM was my videographer.. I had Rob, not Jessica, come and do it.. He really went off on his own most of the night, I didn't see him that much except for when we were doing photos, so I'm really curious what surpises he has for me in my trailer.. and also a little nervous lol

Thanks everyone! So glad to get that huge check out of the way and now just trying to figure out the next step. I have noticed that I love the videos more than I do the photography so maybe I'll just go with another vendor for that...there are just so many choices!
