I asked my good friend of a long time to be in my bridal party...but over the past 3 months she has completely become a different person becuase of a new boyfriend she has. It has gotten so bad that none of her friendsa re talking to her anymore. I recently had a falling out with her bc she choose to hang out with him and 'forgot' that she had promised me she would come shopping for bridesmaid dresses TWICE!! So we are basically not on speaking terms and I can't see her going back to the way she was.
Wehn we were picking out bridal party...I had 5 girls and fh had 4 guys.... Ir eally wanted it to be even for pics and stuff so he chose a 5th guy (a so so friend). Now he has five and I have 4!!!
I was wondering how the pictures come out of people who have an uneven bridal party? Does it look bad? I think it would look unbalanced...that is why I liked that we had it even....but there's nothing I can do about it now. Please let me know if I should be worried about pictures!!! TIA!!!

its fine! many people have uneven parties... i do too. i havd 4 and 4 but fh's step sis got pregnant and didn't want to be in bp anymore so now we have an extra GM... no biggie!

a) people suck - and you tend to learn that during the whole wedding process. I'm sorry.
b) My bridal party = 6 groomsmen, 1 Jr. Groomsmen and 1 ringbearer, and 5 Bridesmaids. Oh well. The 'uneven' thing never bothered me.

i had an uneven BP (6 girls, 5 guys) and it was fine! i just had 2 girls walk down with 1 guy...it was DH's 16 year old brother and he felt like such a pimp! hysterical!!!
i kicked out a BM too because she was being negative and never returned my calls. everyone said she was just jealous because i was getting married first. i replaced her with 2 of my longtime friends...thank God i realized how she was before it was too late. consider yourself blessed, she could have made the ENTIRE process gut wrenching had you not made a decision.

I second that-people suck! We are having-7 girls, 8 guys, 2 FG, and 1RB. I'm sure it won't matter.

Ours started uneven, then 3 people dropped out in the weeks leading up to the wedding, so it became even more uneven. No matter whether you have it even in the first place, you never know what's going to happen. Photographers know how to handle any situation to make it look good!
