These wedding invties crack me up. FH's cousin called him to follow up to find out what I'd be eating. Oh..love those out of state weddings. I don't know why it cracks me up.

I know, I just got one for my cousins wedding and I called my FI and asked what he felt like eating on a Saturday night in October Chicken beef or fish.

I went to a wedding during the 4th of July weekend, and I originally ordered 'beef' b/c I figured it was Filet Mignon. When I got to the wedding, I found out it was Prime Rib (which I don't really like so much), so I lied and told the waitress that I ordered fish on my reply card.

I never understood that either. I just got an invite last week asking the same thing Sh*t, I don't know what I'm going to eat tonight!

You girls are funny. I'm OOT, and I didn't know that NY weddings let you choose your meal the night of (and in some cases you have 7 choices--like JT). Now I'm all caught up to speed, but in Boston you also pay for hors derves by the person, so you have to allot each person say 7 hors derves, and then if someone eats 8, one poor person only gets 6! My parents flipped when they heard about JT's cocktail hour!

i went to a wedding in VA and chose the chicken meal on the invite.

when i got there it was cordon bleu--with MEAT inside!!!! i ONLY eat chicken which is why i chose the damn chicken meal! plus there was NO cocktail hour and NO alcohol. so i ate cake.

lots and lots of cake.

gotta love some out of state weddings.
