I only looked at mine for the first time last month! So no touching yet LOLI have brushed over it a few times by accident and I know that it feels really weird, like numb. But it doesn't seem hard or bumpy.

I don't touch my scar. It upsets me too much. But I have read other women have the same issue as you. Scarring varies from person to person.

Yes it's bumpy. Scar tissue is what it is. Over time it will smooth out more.Ugh!! I hate more than anything that numbness. I cant stand touching my belly and not really feeling it. Ive actually had an itch on my belly and then not been able to scratch it b/c I cant feel it...it's very freaky.

I can't see mine - well, unless I lift up the saggy belly that's over it
It has healed very nicely, and 6 months later, is fading nicely too. But it is still numb and like Elizabeth said, it's just a freaky weird feeling when you have an itch there. I also find shaving to be a little weird (yes, I have to shave that far up!).

I cant even get those straggly hairs (sorry TMI) cause I cant put the razor over it.

Re: one more csection question...
I don't have any numbing or bumpiness of the skin....I feel the bit of scar tissue underneath, where the muscle was cut, but it's not too bad. It's such a small line....but I think my OB did an excellent job - EVERYONE in the hospital that had to check it commented that my incision looked so good!
