One more invite question (direction cards)

If you used a direction card, did you include directions only to the reception? Or did you also include church and/or hotel directions????

Sorry and thanks again in advance

Generally the directions card just provides the directions that are applicable to everybody – which would be the directions to the church and from the church to the reception venue. People are pretty capable of finding their way these days, especially with google maps etc.

On our invitations, it was directions to our reception hall since our ceremony will be there as well. all other directions (since people can come from so many areas going to the venue), are available on our wedding website. We sent out a little card with our STD's with our website address, and we added this info on our directions cards with our invitations so they can look up the accommodations portion, and plan accordingly. We did it this way to save on printing.

Edited bc I wanted to add that the hotel gave us direction cards also, but I omitted it bc I felt it didn't go well with my invitations. But i've gotten invites from people that included this, so I guess theres no right way to go about it.

I am doing all 3 Reception directions, church directions and the hotel information card
