I know I posted a similar message on the old board but here is one last shot:

Has anyone been to a wedding at the Montauk Club in Park Slope, Brooklyn?

We went for a tasting with the new chef a few weeks ago and the food was great! The space is perfect for my tastes. The only problem - the coordinator seems flaky! Not sure if I should be worried because they don't seem very organized or be more understanding because its not a 'wedding factory'.

I'd like to hear as much feedback about this place as possible - THANKS!

PS: Any vendor recommendations from the other Brooklyn brides on this board would be great too!!

I have never been to a wedding there but I live almost around the corner from it and I see weddings going in and out of there all the time. I have been inside a few times and I think its a great place. Very unique. I have heard they do a great job. If the food was great I say go for it...Maybe you can hire a 'day of' coordinator....I know some one in Brooklyn if you need help...email me [email protected]

Thanks for the reassurance. Im not worried so much of the day of..more about the person who is 'selling' me the space will do something stupid like show up 5 hours late to open up or forget about it entirely.

The idea of a day of coordinator is interesting..who is it? How much does it cost?

By the way - what are you doing for your wedding? Are you using any park slope vendors?
