do any of your fiancees care what your father is wearing if he is not in the wedding party and the colors are the same?? Just curious

No, not at all. I don't think the fathers have to match the groomsmen. I think my FH is picking something a little different than the traditional style and I have a feeling my dad would prefer the traditional. I will leave it up to them to decide.

my fiancee did not even realize that the dads wear tuxes.. LOL.. he's a bit on the clueless side with this stuff... but when i asked my dad if he wanted to look different.. he said no, he wanted to wear what everyone else is wearing.. that's my dad.. he just likes to make my life easy.. gotta love dads!!!

My FH wouldn't care if his dad came in his robe and slippers. In fact, he would probably be happier because it would mean less work for him.

My FI is wearing a 3-button tux w/black vest and euro tie (long). The GMs are wearing 1-button w/gray vest and euro tie. The Dads are wearing 1-button w/ a burgendy (different pattern that the other guys) vest and euro tie. The RBs will wear their little tux w/ white vest (same pattern as the Dads) and euro tie.
But honestly my FH could care less which vest the Dads picked.
