One more Vender to go...but I really need HELP!!

Hi!
I have one last person to book...the rabbi! I cannot find a rabbi who will perform an interfaith wedding who is under $600 AND personable.

One rabbi told me he doesn't do interviews so if I wanted to me him I had to give him a deposit...WHAT?! I can't meet with him once to get to know each other a little? I didn't think that was an interview.

If anyone can recommend their rabbi who will do an interfaith wedding AND include the price range I would be eternally grateful!!!

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with this. Finding our officient has been a source of trouble for us, as well (in this case it's findin a Catholic Priest to perforn a ceremony at mass time on Sunday).

I FM'ed you two names that my hall had on their list of officiant. Hopefully that will help.

Does it have to be a rabbi?
We are using Rev. Janine Burns her cost is $500 (still a little pricey in my opinion but that's weddings). She does interfaith weddings.
We are using her because we don't go to a church and DF is basically agnostic and doesn't want a lot of God in our ceremony and I am pretty much a non practicing Christian so her format seemed to work well for us.

Thank you, but yes it does have to be a rabbi.

Come on ladies, I know there are a lot of interfaith couples out there...who are you using to marry you??!

I am using a rabbi and priest who often work together for interfaith ceremonies. However, they cost $900 together and I'm pretty sure the rabbi said that he was $600. This was also the price from a year ago. This is probably out of your price range, but FM me if you want his phone number.
