I was very surprised to read that Larkfield is trying to compare to Oheka. I think that's like comparing apples and oranges. They are on completely different levels.

That being said, FH and I looked at Larkfield. It was beautiful, up to date with technology, and had plenty of room. That being said, I was unimpressed with the outside area- when we looked it was all brick. It was very pretty but I was expecting some green space. When we sat down to go over the menu and numbers, we were surprised to see that you get different menus for different times and dates. We thought this was weird and we would have to pay extra to get the same food given at a Saturday night wedding. There also weren't any hotels close by. For those reasons, we chose Fox Hollow. I never tried the food at Larkfield and I believe everyone when they say it was great. I had the food at Fox Hollow, both at the restaurant and at a wedding there, and it was good.

I think you have two great choices and will be happy with either one.

I'm getting a warning that this thread is really old and you may have decided by now, but I wanted to Chime in! Larkfield was our second choice to the fox. The reason we chose fox was because the room was much more unique (we're in WGP) and the outside space was more inviting. You also have the hotel next door. Larkfield is still unfinished and they have no outdoor gardens. If you go outside the building, you're in the parking lot on Jericho Turnpike. I wasn't a fan of that. The courtyard is nice, but if there is another event going on, you're on top of each other. At the fox, you have separate CH rooms, outdoor spaces, and bathrooms. Everything is staggered so you shouldn't run into each other.

I've tried Fox's food at Volpe and a showcase and it was good, but I haven't tried Larkfield's.

Oheka, I heard was 15k site fee, but that's not based on any evidence.

Let us know what you chose!

Kaselyn, Larkfield has finished their gardens! I got to see it when I had my food tasting back in September. It's beautiful but nothing compared to the outside of FH, but the tasting was AMAZING! We looked at FH but I've been to 3 weddings there and the food isn't nearly as good, IMO but the space is so gorgeous.
