My boss who is also one of my very close friends had her first baby yesterday! YAY!

Baby boy..Aiden!

I want to send flowers to the hospital at long island jewish in new hyde park. She had c section and was pretty out of it yesterday. Do you think I should just wait until she comes home to send something or should I send now? What site is the best to send flowers? FTD?

I dont want to bother her..she has a big family and I am sure she is recovering and I dont wanna bother her...which do you think?

i'd send them to the house b/c i'm sure the last thing they want to bring from the hospital will be flowers and gifts. at least, at home, it won't be thrown out in 12 hours.

My friend had a baby girl yesterday! I sent a basket to her through proflowers.com. It will be there for Tuesday when she gets home

Aww!! Virginia had her baby?? It's about time! I would wait and send them when she gets home. She'll be able to appreciate them more and they won't get ruined in transit!!

honestly, I think making her a meal or two would be better for her. New moms are so overwhelmed and a good meal is always welcomed and appreciated!

You could do one a week for a month or so. What about a bunch of deli meats, rolls, a pasta salad? Baked ziti or a homemade sauce in seperate containers freezes well. You could send it with a few boxes of pasta, a bag of premade salad, and a loaf of frozen garlic bread.

Thanks for the news Noreen!!!

None of Jerry's friends would actually call to tell us!

I would send something to the house, that's what I'm planning to do, this way she can actually appreciate it.

Happy Easter.
