We've decided to do favors one per couple, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to give them out. I was originally going to tie the place card to the bow on the box of the favor and have the favors all lined up on the place card table, but now I'm not sure I'm loving that idea. Could I just leave them on the tables and hope that each couple knows to take only one?
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this? I'd love to hear them!

Re: One per couple favor question
I am only giving out one per couple as well. I am thinking of just leaving them on the tables for the guests to take with nice favor tags. I figure if they are sitting at a table of 10 and there are only five favors on the table, they will know to just take one for the both of them. I have been to plenty of weddings where this was done and it was not a problem.

Re: One per couple favor question
We put them on the tables, if there were six couples we put three/four bottles of wine. In retrospect I probably would have tried to do it differently cuz some people didn't get one. The people who left early must have glommed as many bottles as they could cuz a lot of folks who stayed to the end didn't have any bottles left on their table. We had a bunch of extras there in boxes so we gave them away to the people who told us there were no more bottles on the table. I really don't know how you would control it though. I think greedy people will just take what they want. The placecard idea is probably the best.

I would have whoever is setting upmake sure that the favor is sitting on the table between the two plates and that there are only 5 on the table.

Re: One per couple favor question
I was thinking about having my two cousins hand mine out as people (just the ladies) are leaving - Some people won't be in a couple so I am going to tell them to give it to a man if he seems to be alone.
I am making sure I have plenty extras.

Re: One per couple favor question
We are giving bottles of champagne as favors. I'm planning on either putting them on the table or handing them to guests when they leave. If we put them on the table my mom and I decided we might put little name cards or something. For example, the a little card with the front saying Mary & John Smith, Inside it would say thanks Aunt Mary and Uncle John for sharing our special day. That way it might 'help' our guests see that it's one per couple.

I was thinking of attaching the placecards too but I'm still not sure what we will do.
