One sweet day...

Don't mean to be a debby downer (sp?), but I'm beyond emotional right now and missing my grandma so much. This whole wedding process has made it a lot harder knowing she can't be there and how I would do anything possible in this world to have her there...and yes, I know she will be there in spirit in some way, but even that doesn't almost feel like it's enough, but it's all I have.

For you ladies that have the honor and blessing to have your grandmas at your weddings, please cherish the moment as much as you can, which I'm sure you will.

She passed away over 16 years ago, but it still hurts the same now.

I completly understand where you are coming from my grandpa who was my heart and soul passed away in April 2 days before my bday. He was so excited about my whole wedding. If you need to talk Im here.

Awwww Adel... I'm with you on that.. I have no grandmas and my only living grandpa may not be able to make the trip because he will be 92 years old.

i totally understand. My gpa died in 89 and I swear I still feel it like it was yesterday. :( he was my hero.

Im sorry..I totally understand how u feel.. Im devastated that my godmother and grandpa wont be there I lost both of them to cancer I just keep telling myself they will be there watching over me and smiling down from heaven.. still hurts tho

i completely understand. my grandma passed away from cancer last september and we were so close. FH told her that he was going to propose to me before she passed, but no one is sure if she was coherent enough to understand. i just wish i was able to talk to her about getting married. so upsetting that she won't be there.
