Don't mean to be a debby downer (sp?), but I'm beyond emotional right now and missing my grandma so much. This whole wedding process has made it a lot harder knowing she can't be there and how I would do anything possible in this world to have her there...and yes, I know she will be there in spirit in some way, but even that doesn't almost feel like it's enough, but it's all I have.
For you ladies that have the honor and blessing to have your grandmas at your weddings, please cherish the moment as much as you can, which I'm sure you will.
It also doesn't help that I'm listening to this song right now:
ITA the last two weeks i've missed my dad more than i new possible

Re: One sweet day...
i think about my grandma too and she passed away 5 years ago,
But i know she is still around, i talk to her every now and then, and i know that she is guiding me in the right direction.

i'm so sorry..i totally know how you feel...I lost my grandma 4 years ago (this past monday) and its sucks to know that she won't be there. She lived with us my whole life, she was like a second mother to me and its realllllly hard.

Re: One sweet day...
I know the feeling...my mom has been gone for 8 years now and my grandma for 2 years.....I knew come wedding time I'd be a mess...I just got engaged 3 days ago and already I'm all emotional knowing they won't be there throughout the planning and, of course, the day of.
