I agree...but also a lot of places that do one wedding at a time do require a higher minimum to offset this, so if you're looking for a small reception, you may need to reconsider this. It was one of the factors that played into us going with villa over the sound.
Not all places.. ours is one wedding at a time and we have a low min. Alot of other places as well when we were looking.

Chris, it may have been your day that allowed you to have a low minimum because I know my sister had a pretty high one.

Almost all the country clubs do one wedding at a time because there is only one reception room. They usually only do saturday nights bc every other night is for members and they don't usually have high minimums. Thats the only way we were able to do a saturday night wedding and we only have to guarantee 100 but we having closer to 150
