So I found the perfect dress...but online and really affordable. (FYI the website is idealweddingdresses.com), i need suggestions...whether you ladies have bought your dress online and was content at the end of the day? or you think is a bad idea? Please please help me!!!!
what is your budget? I tried on very similar dresses at RK bridal in NY and some were as low as 1250. I might go with a dress very similar to the first pic you posted
My advice is try to find the dress or ones closest to it to try it on in person. Then you know if it flatters you before you order.
What is the return policy?

But I will recommend u NOT to buy a Dress before U try it on.... What u if HATE IT the way it looks on u when U try it on??

I'm a little iffy on this idea b/c a wedding dress isnt like your day to day stuff - it totally fits differently. And you might think you like a style but then end up liking someting else b/c it fits your body differently.
I would try dresses on in store first before buying anything online. And yea - the return policy is big... so make sure you read all of that

i believe those gowns are by pronovias.
i would suggest going to their flagship store on 5th avenue and trying them on first before you order them online.

Im thinking that that is just a knockoff from another dress that they make cheaper, I'd say find the real dress and try it on. If you love it, then get it through this website. I'd just DEFINITELY check their return policy.

try to find out who the desinger is and try to find the dresses in local shops. something you may love in a picture you may not love on, or it may not be flattering at all. also,wedding dresses are notorious for running on the smaller side! so you don't really know who they will fit or what size to order. i would not recommend buying online

I'm fine spending $1,500 on a dress. Honestly I prefer to spend $ 400.00, is just a dress I'm wearing for one day.

I just ordered my reception dress online. I fell in love with it but could not afford a second dress at the full price so I decided to take a chance on the online dress thing. The process had been smooth so far, but the dress should be here in about 1 week so I can give you better feedback on the quality/similarity to the actual designer dress then. I would definitely try on the actual dress first in a store. (they just put the designer pics on those websites anyway. Have you figured out who makes it yet?)

For me personally, I wouldn't buy it online. Is there anyway you can find a store that carries it so you can see the quality of it in person?

The dress is GORGEOUS! have you tried to locate it in a bridal shop? you can just try it on in one then order it online if you love it!

They might not tell you...the website I was originally going to buy mine from claimed they didnt know who the designer was. If you dont have any luck with that try printing a picture and taking it to a few salons. Thats what worked for me. Paradise Bridal took a wild guess and figured out the designer.
