Online Dresses or Ebay Dresses

Have any of you purchased a dress online or from ebay? If so how did it work out? I see dresses for a fraction of the price I am afraid of what it will look like and what if I need additional alterations. For example these dresses are 132.00 on EBAY.

I had my dress made from a company in China called peridress. I was skeptical at first but the cost savings was worth a try. It came out absolutely amazing and I don't even need any alterations. There's pics in my album if you'd like to take a look. Good Luck with your dress!

Re: Online Dresses or Ebay Dresses

You know that a lot of the designer dresses they sell are just copies. I haven't ordered one myself, but I think most of the wedding dresses in stores are made in China anyway (I know mine is).

I think you can get a great bargain on Ebay! I saw just the other day a David's Bridal chiffon gown ($179 original price) brand new still with tags and still listed on their website, go for $30! Too bad I already had my dress...

I had ordered my dress online through ebridalsuperstore.com I got it for significantly less than anywhere else. The only drawback being that I ordered it too large and since it is specially ordered, I cannot return or exchange it. I had to spend $175 on alterations on a dress I paid $370 for. Get professionally measured first and don't order up in size. Most dresses will need a bit of alterations anyway to get a perfect fit. You can either bring it into a tailor or there are a lot of bridal shops that will alter dresses purchased elsewhere.
