Hey guys, I found a dress i think i like alot I have checked out online because I have the style number and the prices are a few hundred less, i am a little weary though has anyone done this or know of someone who has? Also if I do get it online where do I store it?

Tara, have you tried on any gowns yet? Because they look totally different when they are on. I had sworn on no sheath, no flowers, etc., and i picked a rose covered sheath! I think if you have tried things on to get a feel for it, then you can determine if you can buy online or not. But the storage and the alterations, shipping, etc. - might end up causing you more trouble than just spending the extra few hundred. Good luck!
yes I tried it on retail there is no way i could just buy without trying it on, but i loved it and knew i could find it cheaper, it was quoted 200-300 less on a couple sites, still weary though
I had my sisters try on the dresses at a store than got quotes online. Ordered from netbride.com. Had dresses in 6 weeks (retail told me 14-16)with no problems. Four of my girlfriends also ordered from netbride for their weddings and all the dresses arrived without a hitch. I think it is well worth it. Sometimes if you do the bridal gown and bridesmaids they cut the 'processing' fee (anywhwere from $10-40 depending on site). Either way, my girls saved $70 per dress. For my friends weddings I saved $55, $85, $75 and $110 respectively on bridesmaids dresses for their weddings. Just make sure the site you order from is had a good bond rating and OK with beter business. Good luck!
I got a quote from netbride and it was about 200 cheaper than retail so i want to shop around some more to be sure that is the dress I want but if it is i think i will definetly do it that way, where did you store the dress in the meantime though? My wedding isnt till next may so maybe i should wait and ick out bridesmaids so i can get more of a discount and less shipping fee i assume, just order all together. I assume if you used them they checked out well witht eh better business bureau

I bought my gown online through Pearl's Place. I saved a lot of money and it arrived in a few weeks. I tried the dress on in a local bridal shop and then emailed them for a quote.
