Online Lingo... Abbreviations...

Here are some abbreviations I know...

(I'll add parenting related and non-parenting ones)

TTC - Trying to Conceive
BD - 'Body Dance'
MC - Miscarriage - hate that one
EDD - Estimated Due Date
HPT - Home Pregnancy Test
DD - Dear Daughter
DS - Dear Son (when referring to children you already have)
BTW - By the way(this one always comes in handy!)
SAHM - Stay at Home Mom
IMO or IMHO - In My (Honest) Opinion
JMO or JMHO - Just My (Honest) Opinion
OT - Off Topic
SO - Significant Other (may not be married)
BCP - Birth Control Pills
OTC - Over the Counter
AF - Aunt Flo (our monthly 'friend')
BF - Breastfeed
BTDT - Been there done that (used for pregos that already have kids (BTDT MOMS)


Thats all I can think of for now.. Im pretty sure you can look up 'online acronyms' on any search engines and get TONS more...

Claud, maybe some sites refer to BD as baby DANCE, Ive beentold body dance, who knows. i guess as long as it produces the same end result !

FP- false positive

I had a list of them posted before, I don't think we use too many technical terms here.
