online pre cana

FH and I are having a hard time finding a pre cana class to take due to schedule problems...... a friend of mine found a pre cana class online..... we are getting married in nassau county, do you think we will have a problem if we take this online class? It seems to be the same as a class we would take in a parish by us. opinions? TIA

I'd ask the Church....we had asked if there were online classes, and our Deacon said no!

yes definitely check with your church first. You don't want to assume it's ok, do it and then find out that it's not accepted!

thanks for responding.... i know i should check with our priest i'm just afraid they are going to say no. This online class would work perfectly for us! but you're right it would suck if we did the class and then they said it was no good.

Yeah- we ended up signing up for a weekend in January. I will come up from DC, and FH will head down from Ithaca. It is just inconvenient since we are so far apart and barely see each other as it is! But that is what you have to do, I guess!
