online registries?

online registries?

We want to register at Bloomie's, but our wedding information will be posted on Weddingwire.com. I'm not really into having our wedding information with our last names online.

Is there a way to register there without having our information online for everyone to see?

We were able to register elsewhere to have our information not public.

I think that when you go to register in your account info, there should be some kind of box that you can check off about sharing info with partner sites (such as WeddingWire.com, TheKnot.com, etc). If you un-check that box it shouldn't show up on another site.

I think bloomie's doesn't give you the option if you register online with them. I'm going to try to see if we can call tomorrow and see if they can take us off a searchable list.
