Im seeing chats on this. What are your thoughts on this? I was considering this, However Im a little nervous about this. Like who would be responsible if the dress gets lost or arrives damaged or something that would totally freak me out!!

Re: Online Wedding Gowns
My FSIL is doing this with our BM dresses....from netbride.com and it is a lot cheaper. I would be nervousto use it for my dress but I am considering it. I have heard a lot of good things about it. Also It is being shipped to the store you order from anyway but i know what you mean. As with everything you are taking a chance. If you do it with enough time to spare you leave room to fix any mishaps?????

Re: Online Wedding Gowns
I purchased my wedding dress from bride save and had absolutley no problems. It is run by a bridal store in texas so it's not some shady company getting your dress from who knows where. There prices are the best I found and on top of all that they take returns and exchanges on wedding dresses as long as it is not being discontinued. If you are going to buy offline I just suggest doing what I did which was to find the dress you want in a local store and try it on to make sure its what you really want and that it looks good before ordering. Good Luck!

Re: Online Wedding Gowns
I know I will be ordering my dress online. Its the only way I could afford to do so. My best bet for you is if you find a dress you like, write the company and ask what is their official online site. This way you know you will be getting an official dress and not a knock-off.

Re: Online Wedding Gowns
I ordered my dress from netbride.com and plan on ordering the seven BM dresses there too. I already have my wedding dresses and have nothing but good things to say about netbride.com.....my dress is perfect!!!!! I put it away and won't take it out until it's time for my Mom to do my alterations. I saved a lot of money by getting it online.

I will also be ordering online. The only problem is I'm having a hard time narrowing it down to one dress. I've tried several on at local bridal salons.

do you have to go through a bridal salon to order online or do they just ship you the dress directly?

They ship you the dress directly. The bridal stores have nothing to do w/the online vendors.

Re: Online Wedding Gowns
I think if you have tried the dress on at a local store and know that is the dress you like than it should be okay. Especially if they accept returns. I guess this is why you start early. I will look into the online dresses. Thanks for you help...
