he just told me this weekend that his 2nd choice was Central Park....

My FH proposed in our living room! It sounds so boring, but it was perfect...
It was our first Christmas in our new house (yes, we bought a house together before we got engaged...everyone thought we were nuts), and he put the ring on an ornament on the tree...It was adorable!

No, we sort of bought it right when the market was at the height of craziness
I got a relocation package from my job (even though we only moved 18 miles from where we used to live) so it really paid for us to buy it then. We wanted a brand new house, and there were so few on the market, so we sort of just jumped at it (and ended up paying asking price as a result )
The only good thing is that we saved so much $$ by using the relocation package, that it was worth it financially...

She actually got married in Maine. My parents' have a summer house there, and we've been going there every summer since we were babies. I grew up in NY, but live in Boston now. My mother is of course devastated that I live so far away (in her words...it's really only a 4 hour drive), so I thought having my wedding in NY would make her happy.

No, we sort of bought it right when the market was at the height of craziness
