not to depress you more---but i wouldn't expect much until about a WEEK after your date. ppl sometimes don't think abouth the RSVP date as the date to GET it to you by, but rathe the date to send it
in about 2 wks, you should start phone calls.
but this is TOTALLY normal--so don't be too sad!

people can be rude. But you still have 7 days! and then you have to give them a few extra days (some people wait until the due date to stick it in the mail)

have no worries...i got a whole slew of them the week after our date...i think people realize 'oh shoot! today was the rsvp date!' & then mail them. dont worry - the majority of them will come, and if any dont it's just a phonecall!

Does this make you feel any better: My RSVP date is TOMORROW and I'm missing FIFTY, yes 50, RSVP cards.
That's more than 100 guests that are still unaccounted for.

that is the worst...be prepared to start making some calls...but wait... I got a lot of rsvps for my e-party the day they were due, but after the due date call those slackers!!!

They will start coming in like the other girls said the week after the due date i know FH is infamous for forgetting to send the RSVP's and then I am going crazy sending them out the day after the due date. Sorry that bc of people like us you are going crazy

i think everyone eventually RSVP's.
My RSVP date was August 15. My wedding is September 15. I just got the last RSVP today.
I had to make a healthy handful of phone calls after the RSVP date. Based on my other friends who got married, there will always be those people who you just got to call.
It is unfortunate and pretty damn irritating.. but what can you do?
You still have some time though!!!

OUCH.....all of you ladies have made me feel much better...I have gotten 6 more back in the last 2 days....only need 24 more. YIPPEE I have a very old friend...when she got the invite...she asked me if she could bring her daugher...I used to babysit for her....I told her yes. I'm still waiting.

im pretty much in this same situation i only have like 60/240 replies with only 7 days to go but i figure everyone will mail them on the actual due date and then there are people i know wont send them back at all but will call and tell me there coming.

You will probably get loaded with them the few day before and after your date and a week after. Don't worry. I find a lot of close friends and family do not send theirs backs b/c they figure we 'know' that they will be there. Annoying, don't stress it!!
