I'll start:
For many of us 2004 brides, I'm sure we'll say our wedding day(s)
July 25 2004, our wedding, was the very best day of my life in all my 30something years
I also reflect on 2004 as a year where I made some incredible friends through this website Folks who I love and consider REAL friends even outside of the internet.. Not to mention so many other folks who feel like friends, and who I truly enjoy chatting with day in and day out.
Despite our differences sometimes, I truly enjoy our little LIW world
ETA: the good health of my family and friends, and luckily no real personal tragedies .. after a few bad years, I am VERY thankful for these things !

This year was a big one for me and I'll always look back fondly...
engagement wedding (3 times!) new house graduated law school passed the bar new job new doggie!

i graduated!!! we got married!!! we got our apartment!!! we went to aruba!!! i got a job in the career i went to school for!!! we got our little baby puppy girl!!! i started to really get my hair highlighted (i felt like such a grownup!) i found liw!!!

MY WEDDING Interesting that i was just talking about this with a great LIW friend but my wedding was more than marrying the best person i know. It brought together my entire family.
That's how I feel about my wedding--I have some OOT family I rarely see & it was great to see everyone together.
Same thing with my shower.
My other highlight was my HM.
Other than that, this year has been stressful, with all the planning, work problems, 2 family members not to each other, my apt being broken into, my apt building being on fire, having to move unexpectedly & Dh's grandmotehr beign diagnosed with Alzheimer's, moving to a nursing home & not being able to attend our wedding.
ok, sorry, I am ruining the spirit of thread.
ETA: hoping for good things in 2005! happy New Year!

I am grateful this year for:
having a such a wonderful husband.
having a job.
meeting everyone here on liw even though i haven't met anyone in person yet i love talking to you all i feel like i made friends on here,i hope the feelings are mutual.
the one sad thing i have to say about this year is losing my grandmother who passed in may from altzeimers disease .
hopefully to get a house in 2005
and hopefully getting pregnant by the end of the year if i can get my thyroid under control.

and I am thankful for my family and friends I love you all and thank you for being there for me when i needed you all.

Obviously my wedding takes the cake! I love my DH more than I can even believe is possible.
My sister was really sick a couple of times this year (she had two brain hemorages), which was terrible for me and my family, but the fact that she is feeling so much better now makes me so happy. She's my best friend and it killed me to see her so sick.

honestly, I wont look back on it with fond memories, this year brought three hurricanes, hurricane damage, a pipe burst, flooded car (not engine but car itself),4 miscarriages....man I can't wait until 2005 comes, it can't be much worse.

First and foremost, finding out we were pregnant and then finding out our baby was a boy
July 19, 2004 our first anniversary
May 24th my surprise trip to Disney world
the birth of my gorgeous nephew on May 9th (just want to add he has an equally gorgeous 3 yr old sister...my little buddy)

My wedding June 6 Being a part of Jax's wedding party! Having a great new co-teacher to work with after the hellish last year. Handing my master's thesis!

4/04~finding LIW just by 'chance' and meeting all of you wonderful ladies and gents 5/04~ Finding out we are getting a house. 10/24/04~ Celebrated my 5th wedding anniversary with DH and 8PM that night my nephew/godson was born
Now, here's to a healthy and happy 2005

NEW JOB NEW APARTMENT MOVING TO FLORIDA MEETING GREAT PEOPLE ON THIS WEBSITE SHARING SPECIAL MOMENTS IN MY NIECES LIFE. SHE WAS BORN ON 12/28/03 AND WATCHING HER GROW UP SO MUCH IN 2004. GETTING OVER ALL THE BUMPS IN THE ROAD THAT THIS YEAR THREW AT ME....

I have to say my Vegas vacation in June b/c I got engaged. Plus it was my 1st time there and loved every minute of it. Can't wait to go back

Re-establishing some lost friendships.
The birth of my bf's daughter (what a cutie)
Renovating our bathroom (all by myself)
Learning to take life much easier.
Finding that I really do LOVE my husband (even though he bugs me some times)
Buying our first ever car (grew up in the city. Whoever needed to drive!)
TTCing even with PCOS! Haven't won the battle, but hey, it is fun trying!

1.)Def first... my wedding day 2.)Finding such a wonderful husband 3.) Our little baby (Ike) 4.)Having a healthy and happy family. 5.) This is a little sad but.... I am very grateful for being able to enjoy another year. I had a really bad accident 2 1/2 years ago. I'm happy to be here and well.
There are so many others I just can't list them all Oh and everyone Have a Happy and Healthy New year!! And drive safely.

Our marriage of course! What a great day.
The HM in Hawaii - just loved it!
Finding out we were going to be parents and then last week finding out we are having... a boy.
The phone call three days before Christmas saying I won $10,000 from a website - what a shock! And much needed with the baby on the way.
DH got his dream job and he actually loves going to work. And I'm so proud of him!
Everyone we love is healthy and happy - nothing is better than that.
I know 2005 promises to be full of new surprises and challenges and I can't wait. I hope everyone has a wonderful year!!!
