Onto a happier note.. the Year in Review. What personal moments in 2004 will we look back on with fond memories?

I'll start:

For many of us 2004 brides, I'm sure we'll say our wedding day(s)

July 25 2004, our wedding, was the very best day of my life in all my 30something years

I also reflect on 2004 as a year where I made some incredible friends through this website Folks who I love and consider REAL friends even outside of the internet.. Not to mention so many other folks who feel like friends, and who I truly enjoy chatting with day in and day out.

Despite our differences sometimes, I truly enjoy our little LIW world

ETA: the good health of my family and friends, and luckily no real personal tragedies .. after a few bad years, I am VERY thankful for these things !

MY PARENTS SOLD THEIR HOUSE IN LYNBROOK, AND GOT THEIR ASKING PRICE. I LIVED THEIR MY WHOLE LIFE. THEY MOVED INTO A CONDO, AND I MOVED INTO AN APARTMENT IN BELLMORE....WHERE DANIELLE AND I LIVE NOW. I LOVE IT HERE.

OUR WEDDING AUGUST 14TH 2004

ONE WEEK AT THE GRANDE ST LUCIAN FOR OUR HONEYMOON. WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE.

HAVING MY MOM BE WELL AT OUR WEDDING...SHE LOOKED AMAZING.

DANIELLE GETTING A JOB OFFER TO WORK IN A LONG ISLAND SCHOOL WHILE WE WERE ON OUR HONEYMOON, AND DANIELLE GETTING THE JOB.

MYSELF, GETTING A JOB OFFER FOR A DIFFERENT JOB IN A DIFFERENT DEPARTMENT.

FINDING OUT THAT MY NEW BOSS THINKS I AM DOING AN EXCELLENT JOB AND HE IS PUTTING IN THE PAPERWORK FOR MY PROMOTION AS SOON AS WE GET BACK TO THE OFFICE ON JAN 3RD.

MY WORK GIVING US OFF FROM CHRISTMAS DAY TO JAN 3RD. IT WAS A GREAT WEEK AND WHAT MADE IT GREAT WAS I WAS ABLE TO SPEND IT WITH DANIELLE.

OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS WAS AMAZING....I NEVER HAD MY OWN CHRISTMAS TREE. MY FAMILY ONLY CELEBRATED CHANUKAH. WE HAVE A MENORAH TOO NOW. WE HAD EVERYONE OVER TO THE APARTMENT CHRISTMAS EVE INCLUDING MY DAD AND EVERYONE WENT TO MY MIL FOR CHRISTMAS DAY INCLUDING MY DAD. MY INLAWS LOVE HIM. I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT.

2004 was special because I celebrated my first wedding anniversary! I also loved really getting settled in our condo. DH got a new great job in 2004 and I was granted tenure! In September DH and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary of being together. I feel so grateful to have him in my life for as long as I have. Many things were stressful in 2004 but we always get each other through.

2004 was a year filled with changes

I got married.
DH and bought a condo
DH and I got kittens
DH got accepted to/and started an MBA program at NYU

Silly things that worked out.
The nail salon I go to changed owners but the new ones are as nice as the old ones.

The dry cleaner I go to changed owners but the service remained great.

My favorite restaurant on LI changed over and now DH and I have been exlporing new places

My favorite restaurant in NYC changed hands. Still need to find a new place to go to.

Overall, a decent year
