I have a friend planning a trip for her bach party. With my wedding being this year, I don't have the $ and I don't have ANY vaca time from work bc I'm using it all for my honeymoon.
I purposely planned mine for a Sat night in the city not to make it difficult for anyone (of course I'd love to go away but that's just not convenient for most ppl - some have kids, jobs, relationships, etc).
I think it's a lot to ask of people to go on a trip for a bach party. What do you guys think? And...if you don't think it's asking too much, would you be mad if someone you asked didn't go?

Re: OOT Bachelorette Party
There's nothing wrong with asking...but I dont think its right to get mad about it. It can be a big financial commitment, especially for those who have kids or a wedding.

Re: OOT Bachelorette Party
Mine is a two night event (although I do not know the dets -- its all a secret). My friends and I always do weekend trips so I dont think its a big deal to go away for the weekend, and I would probably be upset if one of my close friends didn't come.

Re: OOT Bachelorette Party
I always wanted to go away with a few close friends for my bparty. So I can definitely understand someone wanting to do this. I would also understand if someone couldn't make it, esp. if they have kiddies or are planning a wedding.
