So as some of you have read we are getting married on Mackinac Island in MI. Thisis a 3hr drive for us and all of our guests. Just to stay on the island and now with gas prices the way they are I wanted to do something special for everyone to let them know how much it means to us they are taking the time to come up. The averge guest is spending $400 a couple for 2 days to see us and stay on the island. I found these silver pals at Target and filled them with Bath and Body works lotion and matching shower gel, a peach candle from there also, mini bottles of alcohol approx 5-6 per pal, a handwritten note, and I will be getting a fudge sampler pack to place in each one. Do you think that's enough? Everyone has been to the island before and fudge is 'the thing' to get on the island. I will be delivering them the morning they begin to arrive so they are waiting in the rooms. No one knows about this. Just wondering if you have any suggestions. I'll post pics in my album so you can see. Thanks

I think it's plenty! If you want to add anything, maybe a blockbuster gift. cert. or something??? But, I think it's plenty.

Re: OOT Bags
That all sounds great. You may want to add a list of things to do and visit on the island. That's if you have time to make a list if not the OOT bags are perfect the way they are.

Re: OOT Bags
That's so generous of you. I'm sure you're guest will really appreciate it. If you're are planning any activities as a group you may want to include information on that too.

Re: OOT Bags
oh, how great minds think alike!
I bought really nice canvas beach bags, and put bath and body works samples (well, really C.O. Bigelow) of shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel in there, along with tera chips, breakfast bars, and honest teas....
the fudge idea is GREAT! I wish Port Jeff had something like that
