I have a hotel room block but majority of the people staying there are going to be our friends....we will have some OOT guests stay but most of the OOT family is staying at FMIL's house or FUIL ( future uncle in law )
ANYWAY, I am going back and forth if I should do bags for the hotel guests. Are all of you doing OOT bags?
What are you putting in them most importantly??
Thanks for your help !

Re: OOT bags
We used them.... we put 2 water bottles, chips, candy, rice krispy treats, etc..... some people like to put advil and things like that.
At 1st, I was like Im not doing this- it's stupid... but then I went to a wedding who had OOT bags and I was really thirsty and realized it was a nice thing to have.
I also attached information about what times the shuttle bus would be leaving and returning to the hotel.

Re: OOT bags
I wasn't going to do them until I went to my cousin's wedding in May (in Syracuse) and she had them and I have to admit they were GREAT! She had some AWESOME must haves like pretzels, packets of advil, water, mini chocolates, maps, etc. It was such a nice touch that I couldn't imagine not having it for my guests. I definitely say do it. It adds such a touch of class and your guests will really appreciate them!

Re: OOT bags
this is a really nice thing to do especially if the hotel doesnt have things like water and stuff in the room. I went to an OOT wedding and they put things in there that came from that area, so guests got an idea of the region (i.e. ohio-buckeye things (Ohio state) and charleston, sc-packaged shrimp and grits etc.). It was cute to put that stuff in there and the water and aspirin and stuff like that is helpful!

I think I am going to do it...at first I was like I dont think people will care but you all made great points and its not difficult to put together and I think the OOT guests will like it.... I went to my friends wedding in PA and I must say those bottles of water def helped in the middle of the night ! thanks for your opinions !

Re: OOT bags
I did them...I think they are a nice gesture for your guests who have traveled a long way to come to your wedding My wedding theme was seashells/beach, so I bought large sand pails at the Dollar Store...each one had mini-sizes of toothpaste, Motrin, Tums, and mosturizer, a nail file, a toothbrush, 2 water bottles, 2-3 breakfast bars, and bags of chips and cookies. I also put in a timeline for the day of and an invite to our Post-Nuptial Brunch the following morning.

Re: OOT bags
We did them since we had a lot of OOTers and I was so excited about them. A friend took a picture -- here's what ours had (it had an extra bottle of water than you see here).
