OOT bags/baskets

hi, we have a few guests staying at the GCH on our wedding night, but they aren't from out of town really. they are generally from ny/nj but just don't want to make the drive back home that night. i would like to have a little bag of goodies. what would you suggest since they're not really OOTers? also, most are from FH's work, so i'd want it to be a little more 'serious'/nicer i guess.

Re: OOT bags/baskets

I got this from another post...

We welcome our guests from far and near,
and say a big thank you for being here!

We’re so glad you chose to stay,
and celebrate our wedding day!

Here are some goodies for you to eat,
to make your stay a little more sweet.

It’s just a small token full of love, hugs and kisses,
to thank you for coming to see the new Mr. & Mrs.

OOT bags/baskets

We're doing things made on long island, in ny, or central to our time of year. Tate's cookies from southhampton, wine bottled on li, hot chocolate mix made in nyc, things like that, fleece throws,

I've gotten both types of oot baskets one with little random snacks and water bottles and one with things from the area the wedding was in, the one with the local items was a cute touch, both out of state and local guests apprieciated it.

Edited to add: If you don't have that many baskets to make you can do more expensive items. Spring for bigger bottles of wine, boxes of chocolate, things that you would love to find waiting for you in your hotel room!

OOT bags/baskets

I got one that contained candy, chips, water, and some local items like a map or things to do. You could put a timeline in the bag for your guests or shuttle info etc...

OOT bags/baskets

We plan on putting in some water (with a personalized label), M&M's with a personalized sticker, chips, candy, mints, some tylenol and antacid along with a do not disturb sign for the door. I am also planning on including some information about the area, shuttle times, event schedule, things like that.
