OOT Bags- How many?

Okay so another LIW bride and I were talking about this yesterday but I figured Id ask here too. I have a 20 room hotel block and I am doing OOT bags. I know ALL of the rooms will be booked AT LEAST. Most of our friends will be sharing rooms but we also have couples that will not be. I honestly am NOT trying to figure all that out for the logistics of these bags.

Is 1 OOT bag per room enough? Should I add more stuff to it since some people will be sharing? TIA!

I think one per room is fine. You shouldn't have to worry about who is sharing a room and who isn't and, chances are, the hotel will tell you not to assign names or room #'s to the bags. They don't want the extra hassle. I would just assume 2 people per room and throw in a little extra. I've been stressing over this too and I still have 5 months! Hope this helps!

It does! They told me strictly 'do not label the bags with names or numbers'. I agree the extra hastle isnt worth it. I'll only make 20 bags for now but I am also afraid that more rooms will be booked. I guess if that happens, Ill just get more bags and goodies!

Right now I know I am putting in-

2 small bags of snacks- like pretzels or chips
2- water bottles
Aspirin- Because I cannot tell you how many times it has saved me the day after a wedding.
A door knob Hanger
Information about the shuttle times/ Thank you letter
A granola bar
Gum

And I was thinking sunglasses because my friends LOVE to party and will DEF be hungover. but IDK if I wanna go that far and spend money on something like that. I do think its cute though! Any other suggestions would be great!

I was considering this too over the past few weeks while shopping for supplies. Ultimately I decided one per room. I think anyone who is sharing a room assumes and is willing to share everything that comes with that room which includes the welcome bag.

TheKnot.com offers personalized playing card decks. I was going to order a package of 25 and put them in the welcome bags (along with water, snacks, itinerary, etc).

I went to a wedding where my fiancee and I shared a room with another couple. There was one bag. The 4 of us battled for the snacks and didn't think twice about it :)

and if you get the sunglasses, they should have that at dollar tree too? even if they are funny looking- it's the thought that counts!
