OOT BP members..
Do you offer to pay for any of their stuff? We have a GM that lives in Florida and since he's going to have to catch a flight to NY and stay in the hotel... I figured it would be nice for us to offer to pay for his tux rental and offer him up our couch as well.
Like is there etiquette that says this is the right thing to do? Is it rude to insinuate that he can't afford it WHICH isnt the case at all. I just feel bad that he's gotta pay for the bachelor party AND the flight up AND accommodations AND then a tux!
Is anyone doing this for any of their BP?

I was planning on paying for my bridesmaids hair and wanted to pay the deposit for the dresses since I do have 2 from out of state and they are already spending a lot to come. I don't know of any actual etiquette though.

I plan on paying for my girls hair OR make up (but I'm not forcing them to get either professionally done) and then I figured we'd also buy the guys their superhero shirts for under their tuxes. Johnny is our only out of state BP member so I really wanna at least pay for his tux and offer him a place to stay at our house since we can't afford the airfare (from florida to NY around the holidays... I don't think we'd be able to swing that)

I'm not because I just can't afford it but I don't think there's any etiquette. If you think he might be insulted why not just say something like we'd like to show our appreciation for how far you're coming for us.

I so badly want to pay for one of my BMs flight. I just can't do it because she's coming from Arizona with her boyfriend. I'll be evenly paying for something for my bridal party...I'm thinking a little extra something for her to do with her travel/hotel expenses.

I don't have any OOT people in our bridal party, so I am not much help. I can see wanting to do that, but I'd feel bad doing for one person and not everyone. I may get a little something extra for my sister & FSIL because I have a feeling they are going to be going above and beyond for me.

I'm not planning to pay for OOT BMs. I was considering paying for their hair and makeup, but only if it's in the budget. They knew what they were getting themselves into financially when they accepted my invitation to be in the wedding party.

my entire bridal party on my side except for 2 live in CT or PA- mostly college friends....and for me, I am paying for my girls hair and make up since thats a costly thing...they really only have to pay for their hotel and dresses and as a favor to them I'm keeping the dresses at $100 or less and whatever I go over I'll be picking up the tab! :)

I feel the same way. Plus my OOT BM already told me she would not be coming to my bridal shower or bachelorette party. I don't think it is fair to pay for one person's stuff and not the other.

Thats why I'm torn about it. Like for the guys its also different I feel like because the girls I at least can offer to pay for their hair/make up which I plan on paying for one or the other of their choosing. I'm also buying their DOJ. The guys don't really have anything we can DEFINITELY buy them so we're definitely getting the t-shirts for them and probably their sneakers because I want them to wear all matching sneakers of some sort depending if I can find the size for FH (him and his stupid size 15 shoe -_-)

I don't think there's any etiquette on this per-say, but I do think that it's a nice thing to do if you can swing it. I don't have any OOT BMs or GMs, so I can't be any help with that. However, I do plan on paying for whatever I can for my girls.Welcome New Vendors
