OOT gift bag tag wording

I wrote a page and a half letter lol...I basically explained about what was in the bags, then I gave the schedule of events, talked about the shuttle, the afterparty, the continental breakfast and thanked everyone for going out of their way to come and celebrate with us.

i found a template online somewhere (i'd give you the link but i don't remember where )

it's a REALLY long template of things you might want to give your OOT people ... i don't think all of those things are necessary but in here's what the first page says:




Dear Friends and Family,

We can barely believe that the wedding week is upon us! After many months of anticipation and preparation, we are excited to get a chance to celebrate with you all. You have each played an important role in our lives, and we are honored that you will be playing a role in our wedding day.

Enclosed, please find all the details you will need for the wedding weekend. The pages are as follows:
• Logistics overview Page 2
• Overview of weekend events Page 3
• Detailed wedding day schedule Page 6
• Map, directions and travel Page 8
• Contact list Page 10
• Description of roles Page 11

You’ll notice that the weekend is quite packed with events! Please be aware that traffic in Los Angeles can be rather horrific, so try to plan accordingly.

Thanks again for your help, your support, and your love. We are so excited to get to celebrate together!

Welcome and thanks for coming! We’re so happy that you could make it to our wedding.

We’ve put together this bag of treats for you to enjoy while spending time in your hotel room or driving about town.

A few important things to remember:

The ceremony begins at 3:00 pm on Saturday. The church is about ½ hour drive from the hotel. After the ceremony, feel free to return to your hotel room to freshen up or even rest. Then come down to Super’s Café in the lobby to join the parents of the bride and groom for snacks and refreshments.

The cocktail hour at the North Ritz Club will begin at 7:30 pm on Saturday. A shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to the venue beginning at 6:15 pm. Please arrive with enough time since several trips will be needed to take everyone staying here to the reception. We urge you to use the shuttle to be safe, and don’t drink and drive!!! In addition, the shuttle will offer return trips at the end of the evening beginning at 12:00 am.

Don’t want the party to end right away? No worries! We’ve arranged for the hotel to keep the bar open after hours so we can come back and wind down. The bar in Super’s Café will be open until 4:00 am. Come on down to spend some personal time with the bride and groom and their families. Cocktails and refreshments will be available at the bar if you choose.

Finally, we’d love to say goodbye to you on Sunday morning at brunch. Located downstairs in the Sag Harbor room, a complimentary brunch will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. So pack your belongings up, check out, and come join us for one last meal before you head home!

Whatever you choose to do while you’re here, we hope you have a great time, and we can’t wait to see you on Saturday!
