Since I unfortunately live in FL ( ), I need to do precana down here...and a priest just told me they don't do it here anymore! Uhhhhh that's not good if he's right!

call your local diocesean. maybe the church doesnt do it, but the regional office should direct you where to go

ITA the state cant not do it any more cuz it is required by the church. all states have a diocese (sp?) main office where they have all those workshops

I had the same problem, I live in CT and the church I attend does not do it. So I had to contact the local diocese and speak to someone there. They gave me a list of dates that the diocese runs.

go to www.Engagedencounter.org they do weekend precana's... thats what i'm doing because i live in virginia and am getting married in a catholic church in NY.

Alright...it's official...I am not into this whole Engaged Encounter stuff...the church down here said it's my only opinion because they don't offer Precana. Pshh!!!! I don't want to go to a dorm for the weekend!
