I bought gable boxes and purchased stickers with our names on them for gift boxes for the OOTers to be given out at the hotel.
Now I am thinking I just dont have it in me (financially and enery-wise) to put together over 40 gable boxes with treats.
What do you girls think of instead of the box offering a welcome treat like a gourmet bag of popcorn or a small bottle of wine? That way we would still be acknowledging our guests AND I wouldn't have to waste the stickers that were kinda pricey.

I think that is just fine!
I went to a wedding in Atlanta, where the welcome gift at the hotel was a small brown paper bag with the couple's monogram on it.. and it was filled to the brim with shelled peanuts....We all thought was perfect!

that is perfectly fine! You don't have to have to do a great big bag of goodies... I think either idea you mentioned would be nice and the guests would love being surprised with anything!

You can put the popcorn and like a bottle of water in the boxes and be done ! you have to check with the hotel bc you may need to have them in some like of box or gift bag.

we are doing popcorn too. Target has the popcorn cups in the dollar section. They also have popcorn bags at the party stores. We were actually thinking about renting a popcorn machine the night before the wedding to have in the conference room where we are having our meet and greet . It's $80 to rent and you have it for 2 days. you pick it up urself and return it urself. It comes with the bags and 5 bags of popcorn. FH really like this idea for guests to take popcorn back to their room.
