OOT'er Gifts?

OOT'er Gifts?

We have about 30 OOT coming to our wedding - most of who have never been to NYC before. Any ideas of what to put in them? I was thinking:

A subway Map
A metro Card
Top three restaurants in the area
Top three bars in the area
Bottled Water
Packaged 'gourmet' cookies
'I love NY' T-Shirt
NY Coffee Mug filled with candy

That's a huge gift bag! Sounds great - but are you sure they are all going to go to the City?

I recently saw I love NY t-shirts in stores just north of Penn Station for $2.99 each. I was walking north from Penn either up 3 rd or 5th. The mugs are cheap too.

Bottled water
Pretzels/snacks
Cheese/crackers
Advil
Granola/cereal bars
LIRR train schedule
NYC brochures (from hotel lobby)

But now I am thinking I want to steal some of your ideas! I also have out of towners coming that have never been to NY before. Hmmm…..

Thanks, everyone! I'm trying to think of some good NYC attractions - especially for ppl. that have never been here before.

On my 'welcome note' i'm going to include museums, wollman rink, rockefeller center,....what else is a good NYC attactions/tourist trap? =)

I am really lucky because the hotel that I have blocked for my guests (LI Hilton) offers shuttle buses into NYC for $70 PP and it’s an ALL day tour to the Empire State Bldg, Wall Street, Ground Zero, Statue of Liberty tour (yes, it even includes the ferry fare!) and some other stops as well. The LIRR alone costs $15-$18 round trip (off peak). I thought this was an incredible deal!

I want to do it too!

If you are going with an NYC theme you could also do (mini) Black and White Cookies, pretzels, and peanuts.

Sounds fun!

I'm putting in playing cards, bottled water, small packs of tissues, candy, little magnetic games (I have a bunch of OOT kids), small hair spray and hand lotion, hand sanitizer and shout wipes
