I wore closed toe - with NO stockings! My shoes were comfortable without them anyway, but you definitely have to go with what makes you comfortable - you will be on your feet for a long time.Good luck!

Open toed. Im getting married in Nov and wear open toed because I'm more comfortable in them. Your feet will swell being on the all day and you'll be hot from dancing...you might want to let your feet breathe a little.
