Does anyone know a place in Suffolk that does the OPI gel polish (the soak off kind)??? I wanted to try it for a vacation I have since I can't wear polish to work, and especially can't wear fake nail type stuff, and I do want to try it out before the wedding!

I've had it done before and found that after I did it a couple of times, it ruined my nails. I was told by a different nail salon, it was because of the chemicals that are used in the gel polish. My nails did look great with the gel polish on, but they weren't as strong and healthy as they were before the polish.

I get it done every 3 weeks and I love it. I heard they are slightly less strong when you decide to stop doing to gel, but after a few weeks they are back to normal. I do not plan to ever stop using the gel so i dont care lol. I will never get a regular manicure again!!
But to answer your question. Paradise Nails , in Ronkonkoma on ocean ave is fantastic!! Its right after the new Mobil gas station. Thats where I go and I love it there. RIght off exit 59 on the LIE..

I've had it done about 3 times....its alright. The polish does peel off, just not as quick as regular nail polish. I just get regular mani's with clear polish cause i can't be bothered to go to the salon all the time....plus it gets expensive!!!

I love the gel polish, it does make your nails weak after some time, if the suffolk salons are too much, I got to Elmont Nails in Franklin Square for $20!!!

I went to a nail salon in Hauppauge that had it. FM me if you want more info....I'm not sure the name...maybe Inn Nail Salon? I know the location, though.

I will never do anything else to my nails again.
It lasts me about 3 weeks, and I work in a hospital, washing my hands a million times a day and in/out of gloves constantly.
they very very rarely chip, even at the 3 week mark.
where in suffolk? I know a few places
Nail Chamber in smithtown on Main St
Judys Nails in Medford
also...when you get them done, do not allow them to chip at the polish- like attempted to scratch it off, thats when it ruins your nails
file the polish a lil bit before you soak, that helps them come off a lotttt easier! without damage.

On Ocean Ave next too the Exon Gas station there's a salon that does it.
