opinion about changing wedding date! ..long

ok well my original wedding date was this Dec, and we decided to postpone for a year to save more money and have a 'better' wedding. Then a month after we postponed we found out we are having a baby..due this March. We then were looking into getting married upstate where i am from because it is soooooo much more affordable. We were thinking next dec '06 after talking to my father today he asked me ehy dont we get married in the summer I told him we cant because the Bm dresses and mostly everything i have is for fall/winter (dark red) so he then said pick October then this way i will have more money to help you, so it wont be right near the hoildays. Now i was shocked because we expected to pay for everything ourselves (dad allready bought my dress) ...so what would you do switch to Oct??? I do love the fall plus wedding being upstate they get alot of snow in the winter ..what do u ladies think??? Sorry so long ...just confused

I think you should do it. It also sounds like you are leaning more towards an October wedding. Congrats on the baby!!

early oct upstate is beautiful and not too cold! I think its a great idea and the colors will be perfect!

Definitely October - for a couple of reasons:

1. I am biased!

2. You've postponed and waited long enough!

3. October weather is so much better (IMO - unless of course you were hoping for a winter wedding). Little to no chance of snow, even if you decide to go upstate, and you'll have gorgeous outdoor pictures.

That's great that your Dad is going help!

I think the colors will look great for an October wedding. And you'll get some great pictures up there. I say go for it!!!

Congratulations!!
I think you should do it! That way your father can help you more and it will be easier on yu and the two of you will have more money for yourselves and the new baby!
Also, upstate is beautiful in the fall! It'll be a beatiful wedding!

I would also say October because I am biased too and it is great that you will be getting some financial help then. However, not to confuse you, I was just in an August wedding and we wore like a cranberry red and it was beautiful. But go with your heart. And congrats

I say go for an October wedding...of course I am biased because I am having an October wedding but the colors your chose really do go with the season and it sounds to me like you sort of have your mind made up. GO FOR IT!!
