OPINION ASAP please w/pic

ok I am ordering a wedding keepsake hankerchief for my mom and fh mom

is it ok to get a hankie from fh to his mom??or is that just for mother and daughter
not mother and son???
it says

there's one I saw that you give your MIL and it was something like : thanks for helping make your son the man I love today.....something like that. It was really nice! Wish I had wrote it down!
