Opinion - candles with picture - need help!

Ok, so I really really really really really want a candle lit aisle for the wedding ceremony. I have this romantic ceremony pictured in my head, dim lighting, candles, the string trio, a flowy chuppah, red flowers - so now you know my vision....

So I've been looking around and I found these on Ebay last night - its a set of two candle stands. I can buy 6 sets and have 12 candles total.

I think that I would do 4 on each side of the aisle and alternate them - high, low, high, low so there would be 8 candles down the aisle - then the other 4 i would put around or inside the chuppah....

I'm not crazy about the bottom of the stands - but I like the hurricane glass alot. I have to call JT and ask if we are allowed to do this - but I'm pretty sure I can do it as long as the candles are inside glass - I asked when we booked and they said it was fine but of course before I buy anything I have to confirm.

Honestly, do you think these would look good? Are the scrolls on bottom to much? I don't want to buy anything that looks cheap....

They are very pretty!!! Are they going to be on stands or on the floor?? I'd be worried someone would knock them over.

Yeah they are stands for the floor - I wanted something in glass so nobody would catch fire - like me with my dress and I wanted something wrought iron.....I hope nobody would knock them over - I thought nobody can walk down the aisle anyway?

I love them and from your visison with dim lighting and the candles lit, you really won't be focused too much on the bottom of them.

Ahh good point! I didn't think of when people leave.....Hmmm....does it sound really bad if I say I don't care - at that point the ceremony is over and I'll be out of the room

As long as you are farrrr away!!! I would definitely check with your RH and see what they say. They might now want it on the floor.

i've seen pictures of just hurricane vases with candles inside or just small votives along the aisle and it looks gorgeous but that i think is more dangerous than these stands....i feel like the hall will have less of a problem with the stands....i would love to put votives in between them but i dont know if they would let me....

Make sure the aisle is wide enough. You'd have to watch your train, could catch on the stand

yeah - that def scares me - the aisle isnt that wide either - thats why i like these - the small ones are 2 feet high and the taller one is 33 1/2 inches high and they are in a big glass vase/bowls....

I think they are gorgeous! You can always customize them, too. If it would go with your decor better you could spray paint them another color (even gold, white or silver).

I love them. Great idea!

we called JT and we can use them as long as its not an open flame and its in glass....they will set it up for us too....
