We just got back a few of the pics from our engagement shoot...which was delayed because of weather. We took 250 pictures..and so far received 5...which I am not that crazy about. Did you all find that you didn't love every picture? I can't wait to see the rest...but so far I only liked 2 out of the 5...am I crazy?

Well...I think that you will NEVER like every picture. Maybe you don't like the angle, the smile, your eyes...etc. You've seen five and out of those you like two. There will be tons more that you love and that you will get. Good luck.

I wish there was a way to edit things you don't like I mean I'm sure there has to be at least a hand full that we will love..I am just hard on myself in that sense.

We certainly did NOT like every picture. Only a couple. You shouldn't worry about not liking all of them,,,thats why they took so many shots! You have more to choose from!

We got a total of 144, and LOVED 15. I never figured out how many we really liked vs. completely disliked.

we took over 300 and liked maybe 10-they all came okay but those that we loved came better-also we tend to be more critical when looking at pictures then say someone else looking at them.

Our photographer just came back from vacation last night..and was jetlagged. She had more..but didn't send them yet. I'm DYING to see the rest. We have a total of 250 pictures...I'm hoping there are better ones.

we took well over 100 pictures and loved about 30 of them. We ordered 5 from the shoot.

of the 200+ pix we had, we LOVED like 25...the rest weren't HORRIBLE...just not among our favorites...to no fault of the photographer...our facial expressions were retarded at times.

I would say don't even pass judgement until you see all 250. What was wrong with the pictures you don't like - where they blurry, badly taken, was the shot a bad shot or are you just being really picky about the way you look? We do tend to be overcritical with ourselves. I think I look fat in all my wedding photos. My husbnad thinks I am crazy but that is certainly not the photographer's fault that I didn't stick to my diet before my wedding and that I wore a big white gown! With 200+ photos, you will probably have many you don't like - and quite a few you do like. I think that is preferable to the photographer editing down your proofs to the few 'great' ones you do take. Just my opinion. I'm sure you will love your photos once you do see them.
P.S. If you are referring to the ones in your bio, they are fantastic!
