If my FH and I are throwing our own engagement party do you think this balloon is ok with the wording 'happy engagement'?? Or should I try and find something that says 'we're engaged' maybe (that is I CAN find something like that in the US) or just stick to plain colored balloons?
...and lastly why am I stressing over such a little detail ??? LOL

i wish i had a picture of the ones we had, i got them at part city, they were a black and white pic of a little boy and girl kissing and she had a red rose i think in her had and it said Were engaged! they were great cause we threw our own e party too

Thats very cute! Dont worry about these little things though!!! I bought a bundle of balloons to put outside the house and just used plain balloons in the color scheme [orange, yellow, ivory] And threw in a couple bigger balloons that were clear with hearts or bells on it, I can't even remember!!! Trust me, neither will you! And guests wont notice the little things either... Worry more about the food!!! THAT was our most expensive part of the party... We spent atleast 2k on just the food and drinks!!! GOOD LUCK!

You're definitely right but I'm such a stickler for details I always notice everything so I just assume everyone else does too!

I'm not a big fan of pink. To me it says, the engagement party is all about the bride too. JMO. I'd do balloons in your wedding colors. But if you have pink as your wedding color I regress back to my original comment. There's always white and silver.
Our main wedding color was black, with accents of red. As much as we love black, we knew it wasn't appropriate for our e-party. So we used mainly red and white.

oh my goodness, we used the same ones! I loved them, they're so cute.
I still have some downstairs, slowly deflating... maybe tomorrow I'll try and see if I can get a picture
