Opinion on Colors

Hey so i thought i had my colors figured out but i'm still toying...

what do you girls like better for a winter wedding...

-dark silver, and soft whites, ivory or
-champagne, ivory, and gold tones

i have an inspiration board with the silver and white in my albumn but i also like the look of the gold and ivory, plus my reception hall has more gold. ahh what to do?

Both are nice color combos but I'm leaning towards the champagne ivory and gold since you said your RH is more gold.

I agree with FJOC- I think it's probably smarter to match the RH and also- those colors will look gorgeous together.

It will be nice to step away from your classic winter colors.

Both sound really nice, but I would lean toward the gold combo, especially if its incorporated in your RH.

Both are nice but the champagne, ivory, and gold tones combo is good choise. Plus you want to be the only one in white that day.

I agree on the gold combination. Since your hall has gold decor I think it would look best to match the hall. However, I love the look of the silver combo in your inspiration board. I love how it has a snowy winter wonderland look. But I think that the gold combo would look beautiful as well!

thanks girls for your input!!! the only issue i had with ivory, gold, champagne is what do you put the BMs in? I found most champagne colored dresses blend in tooo much with the bride and I dont really want to do browns. for example i love this pic below but the bride kinda blends in. Any suggestions??

I agree that the champagne colored bridesmaids dresses can blend in with the bride a little too much. What about having your BMs in a deep red wine color. I think that color would look nice with the gold, champagne and ivory tones. My sis had that color for her BM dresses when she got married..I will send you a pic of the dress when I get home from work.

I think both will be very pretty but I like the idea of the gold tones better.

I really like both color combos alot...but if I had to chose and you want to incorporate your RH ..i would go with the gold/ivory tones

Because ivory is the common color and you're at Crest Hollow, I would DEF do champage and gold, how pretty! What are your BM's wearing then?

DUH, you were already thinking about that... I like the idea of the champage dresses, I'm sure you cna find them a little more saturated so they can be a little darker without being GOLD but without blending in with the bride. I think that's a fantastic color scheme.
