Opinion on Mens Diamond Bands

So FH & I went to pick out wedding bands-we fell in love with a 1ct diamond band for him. It looks great on him.

Ever since we found this I've told friends & family that he's getting a diamond ring and they're all shocked. I guess it's expected that we just get him a basic $100 silver band. But if that's not what he wants then why not get him what will really make him happy? Considering he's got to wear it for the rest of his life LOL!

I'm still sticking to it; we're ordering the ring that he likes. Guess it's both frustrating and weird to me that other people don't think it's necessary. I'm walking around with a chunk of diamonds on my hand; why can't he (if that's what he wants).

Whenever we go out if he sees a husband with diamonds in his band; he always comments on it. It's something he's talked about for a while!

Just another example of how I can't stand other people's opinions!!!!

I think it's a personal choice everyone makes for themselves. If this is what he has always wanted and likes, who cares what everyone else thinks?

It's not for their husbands to wear...it's for yours.

FH is getting diamonds in his band - screw everyone else the ring isn't going to be on their finger!

i think its up to the person my fh has a diamond band and a plain band. the plain band was an after thought for like the honeymoon so he doesnt loss the realy band.

I konw-we love the bands-not gonna let what other people thing stop us; once they see it on his hand they'll be gushing over it!!

He should get what he loves! People will always have an opinion and unfortunately don't always keep their mouth shut

FH went with a white gold ring that he loved because that's the look he wanted. So whatever makes him most happy, go for it!

I want my FH to get some bling in his but it isn't his style so he is picking out his favorite! He has to wear it!

I say go for what you want. If he loves it, go for it. Who cares what other people say.. they say it's weird now, but I bet when they see it they will love it and coompliment it.

FH is getting a stainless steel band with cz's so everyone will think its a diamond band! Haha little do they know it costs about $10! Haha! I think diamonds look nice! Tell people to mind their own!
