Opinion on Place card idea

What do you girls think? Honest opinions!

I would be using these parasols as they match my PInk & Orange theme to a T!!

thats very cute! just make sure the rh is ok with u putting sand on their table or that u have a big sand box that u can put it in.

I think it's cute, but you might want to make the name cards a little bigger, so it's easier for guests to read.

i think it's super cute, but i know some of my older relatives would have a terrible time finding their names, so if you can make the names bigger, i say go for it, with rh approval, of course

How does that work logistically, though? I presume you have a styrofoam 1' sheet that covers the table, was painted beige and then sprayed with glue and dusted with sand?

or is it a giant sand container?

Here is the info from Martha Stewart

You'll need a 1-inch-deep tray, a sheet of 1/4-inch foam board cut to fit into bottom of the tray, and some sand. Lay the foam board in the tray, and cover with sand. Drizzle sand unevenly, sifting a bit more here and there to form dunes. Print your seating assignments onto colored paper, and cut them into strips; glue strips to the shafts of the umbrellas. Poke the umbrellas through the sand into the foam board at an angle so guests can easily find their names.

I will probably not use colored paper and make the names bigger... and have 2 trays still thinking of ideas to excute..lol

I agree with the other girls, they are cute but maybe make them bigger so they are more legible.

But in all honesty-regular seating cards arent large so maybe that size is fine
