my matron when she got married she had on white motorcycle boots. She danced up a storm all night.
who cares whats on your feet. if someone likes a particular shoe, and they are comfy good for her. may she dance the night away foot pain free.

Re: Opinion on these shoes..
I think the platform style and chunky heel looks dated but they're pretty.
I'd say it depends on your dress. If it very feminine, I don't think this shoe goes.

They are a little too chunky for my taste, but if you love them that is what matters.

I agree that they are too chuncky and not really the type of shoe to wear with a wedding gown. JMHO.

I love them. I bought the same pair. I am always tripping on my own two feet. I trip wearing sneakers. I like the idea of the chunky heel, and I like the extra support of the strap.

Re: Opinion on these shoes..
It obviously depends on personal style, but I don't like them at all. I say let the platforms and chunky heels R.I.P. Go for something with a more slendor heel.

Re: Opinion on these shoes..
this isnt to start a riot or anything, but i love how people say you need to wear a classy shoe.
its personal prefence. my matron wore white motorcycle boots as her shoe
another wedding we went to the bride wore white doc martins
and a third bride i know wore white adidas sneakers.
its personal prefence. those brides wore those shoes because they were comfy and no one made any comments about it. you either do or you dont like it. no need to say oh well that type of shoe just isnt appropriate for a wedding because if someone said that to any of the 3 brides listed above they would have shoved there foot up that persons butt.
who cares whats on your feet. if you are comfy in them go for it.

Re: Opinion on these shoes..
Chip - your right, its is a personal preference, but she asked our opinions - we gave them. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and mine is that the shoe should be as classy as the dress. Doesn't mean it can't be comfortable.
I think its great if you want to make a statement with your shoes - wearing boots, doc martens or whatever. But thats not my style, and thats not the question that was asked.
Plenty of people thought I was crazy to go open toe (without stocking no less ) as a bride. Whatever - I did what I wanted and wasn't swayed by others opinions.
She obviously cares about whats on her feet, or she wouldn't have asked. And when you ask, you may not always going to hear what you want.

Re: Opinion on these shoes..
I get upset about this because yes its someone's opinion but when ppl start saying oh you should wear a slendar heal or chunky is so dated its like well do you know what my dress looks like. my matron wore motorcycle boots and her dress was beyond elegant. it was just her shoes represented her.
all the girls wore beautiful white dresses, some more elegant then others and i dont see what is the big deal about shoes. why must a bride wear a slendar heal or be told that chunky heals just arent appropriate.
yes she asked opinions and yes we must all agree to disagree but i just dont like it when someone tells someone else what is appropriate and not appropriate for a wedding.

Chip, A bride (or anyone else for that matter) can wear anything she pleases, but the question here was 'Opinion on these shoes'. It just so happened that some peoples' opinions were that the shoes were dated, not appropriate, etc. Others said they really liked them. I think we were all just answering the question asked.

Oh, please don't fight with each other, I value and respect everyone's opinion, everyone has different tastes and that is fine, I appreciate everyone's input, but pleeeaase don't argue over it !
